Educational Ideas using Nancy Drew: Girl Detective

1. Faberge Eggs. Without a Trace involves the disappearance of a Faberge Egg. These eggs have a fascinating history dating back to Czarist Russia. Researching Russian history surrounding the making of these exquisite eggs can be an extension of the material that Nancy researched in this book.

2. Bike Race. Organize a fundraiser or charity bike race with your kids!

3. Hybrid Cars. Considered friendly to the environment, learn more about these eco-friendly cars and how they impact the environment.

4. Old Laws. High Risk involves a plot having to do with old laws in River Heights. There are many old laws still on the books in your town--some quite unusual. Sleuth them out!

5. History of Your Town. Does your town have a fascinating past, a real history? Involve your kids in a project reconstructing the local lore of your community.
