How Do I Love Thee, Nancy Drew? Let Me Count The Ways By Todd H. Latoski

(With apologies to Elizabeth Barrett Browning)

How do I love thee, Nancy Drew? Let me count the ways.
I love thee for every secret and mystery and clue
My eyes can read, when I’m feeling so blue
I know that you can always brighten my days.
I love thee to the level of everyday's
Most quiet need, by candles twisted just so.
I love thee freely, as you outwit each foe;
I love thee purely, as you turn from praise.
I love thee with the passion you knew
When you found a trunk of brass or a missing map.
I love thee with a love shared by others who
Are my fellow Sleuths,—I love thee in any text,
Original, revised, or new!—and, you know it‘s true,
I shall but love thee in first person best!
