Collectible of the Month: A Superboy/Supergirl Anthology

Scholastic Books published the Superboy/Supergirl Anthology in 1971. This collectible has been prized for the original text excerpts inside it from the Nancy Drew, Ted Scott, and Hardy Boys series. The artwork is all new and quite interesting. Accompanying the anthology was a workbook, which has previously been unmentioned in collector circles and rates being harder to find than the anthology itself.

Excerpts from the Nancy Drew series included: The Bungalow Mystery and The Password to Larkspur Lane. Each Excerpt is illustrated with all new black and white illustrations. At the end of the anthology, there is a neat glossary of terms used in the stories.

The Super Workbook included "supertasks" and "mystery superbonuses."

In very good condition, a Superboy/Supergirl Anthology would be valued at around $30.00 to $50.00. An unused Super Workbook in very good condition would be valued at around $50.00.
