The upcoming Warner Brothers movie, Nancy Drew: The Mystery in Hollywood Hills is currently being filmed. A sneak peek at some of the cast includes:

Tate Donovan as Carson Drew
Daniela Monet as Inga
Kelly Vitz as Trish
Josh Flitter as Corky
Kay Panabaker as George
Laura Harring as Dehlia Draycott

Hannah Gruen and Chief McGinnis are also in the movie. A preview picture is shown above of Emma Roberts playing Nancy during filming. Nancy is a demurely dressed girl in the film–kind of wholesome middle western as a contrast to the wildness of modern teens in Los Angeles–and typical of Nancy as illustrated and written in the classic series. A release date has note been set for sure, but it’s either late this year or next year.

Synopsis of the movie: Teen detective Nancy Drew (Roberts) accompanies her father on a business trip to Los Angeles, where she happens upon clues to a murder mystery involving a movie star.
